Beautiful shots, I see a lot of Herons and Egrets here in Rockport, TX but have never seen one that color. Very nice work.

Nice shots !! Glad you made it there. The drive to North Beach is definitely worth the time.
Looked at the first shot without reading and thought "Looks like Fort DeSoto".
I have some from Jan doing this when she rebuffed the male and even bit him a few times. Must be a mating ritual.
