I've done a couple of these, can be a little time consuming (maybe due to the simple, uncomplicated software i use; Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition) but I like the results.
I'm happy w/ these unless otherwise noted, thoughts...?

And remember; show me yours!
(...and what program did you use?)
Took this last memorial day when my girlfriend & I went to the local cemetary to lay flowers & say 'Thank You'...couldn't decide if I like the Red or Yellow carnation better...
I love this, but dissappointed in all the shadows. Hope to get back and take it again w/o so many. Was a fun stop though, got quite a history lesson from the older gentleman I talked to when I inquired about taking some photos...
My 2 cents....yellow!
Nice pics
Thanks so much. I'm a bit indecisive. :)
One of my favorites. Simple, but boy, those eyes!
Worked over in Photoshop CS4

I've done a few of these, but I use Photoshop and paint in the color with a mask.

I'm partial to the red. It just fits the mood.
~What a beautiful tot! Very Nice.
What program do you use?
~I've never tried masking. I do have older versions of Photoshop CS2 & Elements, but as of yet been a bit intimidated to take the time to check them out, especially when using the current 'simpler' program I'm using...

I use Photoshop CS4. I got it when I was in school, and have spent so much time trying to learn it, I don't have the heart to dive into a different one just yet.
For this one, I converted to bw and then used the eraser to remove the bw from the areas I wanted the color. Then I played with the opacity and hue/sat until it was how I wanted it.
I like the selective coloring.

I have to go with the yellow rose, very nice! I like them all but this one stands out... I've only done one that is a portrait of myself at a local night club that I used to sing at. My band split up after finding we had different taste in music, Sinatraman knows the story as I've told him. Anyway enough said! Here's what I have to share on your post!
Supra Might's Night Club (Self Portrait after closing time)
@jwilliams; That's awesome! Love the effect you gave it. Very nice, thanks for sharing!
And...
I've often wondered how people or groups/bands can play strictly one genre of music? I love music, and to sing around the house; but I like everything from GnR to Judy Garland...

Thank you! I am not sure how groups/band stay with a single genre either, however, my luck was almost completely different then when we started. We started as a garage band then started playing at night clubs, that's about when it all started to change. I played a lot of rock from AC/DC to The Guess Who's. I too listen to all types of music, but, was creative to write my own for the band. I have a about 200 songs I wrote for the band and played at clubs but non of which was published do to the split up. I just quit after that. I still play guitar but as far as clubs, I haven't drank in years and don't plan to anytime soon!

I really like this! What did use to cause the reflection?
