Those are indeed nice shots. The coloring on the deer is striking
compared to what we have here.
I especially love the 3rd-4th- and fifth photos.
Will you be going back to your sisters any time soon ?

Thanks Marilyn,"Queen of the Deer photos" I'm glad you liked them, unfortunately I couldn't get nearly as close as you do so the details aren't nearly as good. These were shot hand held at 500mm with a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 50-500mm lens.

They are very nice photos and you should be proud of them. Thats one Heavy lens to hold.
I Have one heck of a time holding my 100-400 steady.
so I can appreciate what you have here.
They are beautiful animals and coloring's and surroundings set them off perfectly.
Its enough to make ones heart go pitter patter in hopes of capturing them before they bolt.
I took a few this morning but will hold off downloading them until i see more move through. It should be getting pretty wild here in another week or so.
