Looking for Adobe Photoshop help

I have recently (today 04-24-23) had an update to the Photoshop program.
I now cannot open any photographs in Photoshop.
All I get when I upload a photo to be worked on is a flashing white screen.
I have checked my drivers to see they were up to date and they are.
My graphic card is appropriate and has plenty of memory...

I cannot seem to find any link to discuss this with adobe?

anyone else have had this issue with the new update?

Thank you for any help.

1, Call Adobe help at 800 833 6687

alternatively

2, Access Adobe.com and sign-in using your Adobe credentials.
3. Access Help & Support.
4, Click "Contact Us", force the virtual assistant to give you over to a human.

Earlier this week, a UHH community member did the following, and with help from Adobe, made some adjustments that seemed to resolve the same / similar problem.

Once again Thank you for your help.

Tech support lead me to the issue quite quickly.

If anyone has this issue, this is the solution...

Edit - Preferences - Technology reviews - Check off Deactivate Native Canvas.

End of problem

Go to Edit>Preferences>Technology Previews and then Check "Deactivate Native Canvas". Next, restart Photoshop.

Let me know if that takes care of the problem.

Since the most recent updated the Adobe interface screen has ghanged tor the worse. It seems the Adobe engineers have gone crazy. I liked having a startup menyu that was simple and just gave me the choice of which installed program to open.

Better yet, I would prefer to have an icon for each adobe program on my screen where I can choose to go directly into it.

Not sure I understand. How'd that happen? I'm assuming you have PC. I'm fully updated and I have Shortcuts (Icons) for the individual programs (PS, LR, LRC, Rush etc.) on my desktop (and taskbar). When I upgraded to Win 11 I found a different APP menu structure and had to copy and drag some program shortcuts to my desktop. You should have the shotcuts you want if you go to the "file location" from the app menu.

I installed the latest update 2 days ago, 24.4.1. I didn't have any problems.

Mine as well. Fix = Open pS - Got to edit - Preferences - Technology Previews - deactivate native canvas. Close PS - Restart. Open PS - fixed
