Wondering how do I remove glare off glasses
It takes some very tedious and detailed work with the Photoshop Clone Stamp, maybe some with the healing brush, maybe with selecting an area from an opposite eye, putting it on its own layer, flip it horizontally and blend it in to the affected eye. It is SO tedious that I will do it for you for $100.00...assuming it is even possible. :-)
That is a joke folks. I have better things to do!
Just remove the glass from the frame before shooting if possible.
I once had a friend with an optical studio who was throwing out a large box of discontinued frame designs, when I asked she gladly gave them to me. I used them for portraiture substitutes for many years.
It must be bloody hard, because Scott Kelby uses a different technique rather than doing it.
In his CS5 book he explains how he takes 2 photos.
One with glasses, one without.
He then puts the eyes from the glassless pic back into the frames of the glasses pic.

That was my first thought, but it could be risky. I know some local actors who use glassless glasses on stage. Not for the glare, of course.

What image editor do you have?
If you are using natural light how about a circular polariser and adjusting it to reduce glare/reflection if you are shooting close enough to your subject?

Captain, I have a great pose by Sharon Stone. She is in her prime, in nothing but her B-day suit and a pair of glasses. The glasses have glare on them, so am sending it to you to remove the glare. I will gladly pay the $100. Sending it now.
Oooops, just saw you where kidding. "DELETE", guess I will try it myself, thanks for the pointers Captain !!
Would it not be just as easy to tilt the glasses slightly downward to avoid the glare.
Or better still shoot the photo with the glasses removed.

Often tipping the lenses slightly down by raising the earpieces slightly higher works great. A polarizer might work too if otherwise your lighting allows it.

Tilting the glasses downward is a great way to avoid glare but with elderly people, they don't always understand what you want and have glasses positioned all kinds of ways. You will litterly need to help them with the little bit of tilt you will require.

Not a problem our job as a portrait photographer is to help our subject get a good result, it's all about service and help.
