This is a focused stacked image of my preserved little yellow jacket that I staged using a 5X microscope objective with a vellum tracing paper hood and constant LED panel soft light illumination. The session consists of 407 images taken at 10-micron increments and processed with Zerene Stacker.

The colour has come out well, they say yellow is a hard colour to shoot.

Thanks, Tinusbum. They are small, however, they pack a wallop.

Very well done! I think it's these that have different markings on their face and they can recognize each other that way.
