All in a row heading for the barn
Brings back memories. As a nine year old I would walk a fair distance down to the pasture, unlock the gate, and follow the cows to the milking barn. At 11, I would drive one of the International Harvester FARMALL tractors down to the pasture to fetch them

How do they get them to sit down on the milk bottles? (cartons today)
Every one of those cows will feel better after being milked, and all that udder pressure feeling is gone.

Nice!
We would call ours once in earshot; "come boss, come boss" mix of Holstein and Brown Swiss all in a row just like your photo.
75 years ago my folks had a dairy farm. What always amazed me was that the cows always followed the same order when they went to the barn to be milked.
