I really have no idea, I don't know enough about the banking system and the Federal Reserve to offer an opinion, just saying that he offered no substance to help us understand that what he stated was true. Our money for the most part already is digital, I have no idea what enhancements the Fed is working on and if those enhancements would afford the Fed and the regulators greater control over our bank accounts. I will say that I don't have a lot of faith in our government to not abuse its power, we see it all the time.

I couldn't watch past the beginning where he says "the digital dollar does not exist in the U.S. Of course it exists I use digital dollars every single day, I never carry cash so how is it not digital?

I rarely use cash. But I keep some just because. It eventually gets used I just like to have something tangible

I use a cash back credit card for just about everything but I will also hide a $50 bill in my car just incase I run off without my wallet I will have enough to fuel my car should I need it to get back home.

Something that you might want to think about, I use my credit card for everything, groceries, gas, utility bills, everything but I pay it off monthly so I never pay a dime in interest and get somewhere around $800+/year in cash back.
