I'll give a stab at it. It looks like a "Turbulent Phosphila" (Phosphila turbulenta). Food plant is Greenbrier. Found in open woodlands and forest edges from IL & ME, to FL & TX. It is a gregarious defoliator. Hope this helps. BTW nice shots!!
