This building was on the other side of the river by the dam. I can not find the history of what it use to be.

Lots of Iowa small towns have buildings like that. They become part of the landscape so no one thinks about their past.
If you can uncore it, there's a very interesting story about the buildings.
It is good to remember the past.

You are so right, regardless of the state or town. I have so many memories of my youth in a small town and the buildings in Carroll County IA.
