Evening drive in Oxford County Ontario.

Decided at about 6pm to go for a drive in Oxford County on April 14, 2023, and boy do I need to listen to that little voice more often. Found some fantastic birds for the first of year tonight including an Eastern Meadowlark, Sandhill Cranes and just enjoyed a slow drive thru the countryside.

Thanks I like the photos that I got of the meadowlark but the Sandhill Crane shot became my favourite of the day when I seen it on the computer. First how they manage to get into almost perfect position in the frame and then how each of their wing positions is in a different part of the flap pattern.

they're all nice shots, gtilford. i especially like the ddl of the meadowlark and the grazing scene!
