Gila Woodpecker

I was outside shooting pictures of Prickly Pear buds when I heard a couple Gila Woodpeckers hammering away on a palm close by. Ran inside to switch lenses but, by the time I got back, they had flown away. Fortunately, 1 of them landed on a Saguaro where it has a nest. Shot with a Sigma 150-600 & cropped about 50%.

It’s already at 50% of the original frame. Didn’t want to crop it any more.
