Thanks, Ron! Yes, it would be! My fondest dream!! I tried sky diving, it was fun, but not the same as soaring like a bird. I'd love to try a sail plane!

I did a glider many years ago, loved it. The pilot actually let me fly it...

That would be very cool! How long did you stay aloft?
You must be a reliable looking guy!
When I did my first sky diving jump, the instructor let me go without a static line. The rest of the group was tethered to the aircraft so their rip cords were pulled as they exited the plane. I guess my stiff upper lip erroneously suggested that I was calm, cool and collected!

From memory, a couple of hours, he wanted to stay up longer but we had to leave for an appointment, wish I could have stayed longer though...

I had in mind 'People in Flight' in answer to your question, but Cole Porter had a lot of scenarios in that song, so I guess if you count airplanes, we really do... do it.
