The Flicker has put in a request for more suet, please! Nice shots. I think you have more variety than we do in the east. The Red Crossbill and Grosbeak are hard for me to spot and the Magpie doesn't visit at all.

Nicely done, Barbara. I'm not familiar with the third lil' fella. Is that "scissors" beak standard issue ? should come in handy for dividing worms. NM is great for birds. We spent a week at a cabin in Ruidoso several years ago and saw many species not common to my neck of the woods.

That's because it does not exist! There are crossbills, there are grosbeaks, but there ain't no crossbeak.
