Beautiful cars, great shot. Do you have any more?

Unfortunately not my shot. Comes from within the article.
Todays vehicles are becoming technical marvels. Those awesome beauties were design and power. Simple as that. It's made the first and following Corvettes so great and why the Mustang and GTO were big hits.
Just once, I would like to get on an oval track and drive a Cobra. I should put that on my bucket list.
I always wanted a Shelby Cobra, but I knew I'd never get one.
In my much younger days (early 20's), I got to ride shotgun in an original Shelby Cobra. Other than rattling the fillings in my teeth, it was to closest thing to sex you could do in public. What a ride!!

The museum is actually on the north fringes of Boulder in an area named Gun Barrel, CO. Here's their website:
https://www.shelbyamericancollection.org/The collection is extensive and contains many iconic Cobras and GTs. For example, if you saw the movie, "Ford v Ferrari," you'll remember a scene where Ken Miles (Christian Bale) was slamming the door of his GT40 and couldn't get it to lock. The issue was that he was pulling too hard and the door upper edge was slamming against the body. The museum has the actual car and you can see the evidence. The collection is private and extensive even though it's packed into a relatively small space. Also included is Shelby's first Cobra CSX2000- 1962 260 roadster.... another blue beauty, whose original color was a pearlescent yellow because Shelby thought that it would show better under fluorescent lights. Eventually, it became the iconic blue and is one of the few cars in the museum that doesn't carry a number. Unfortunately, the only shot I have of it is a front on. The museum is only open for limited hours on Saturday, but individual groups can be accommodated (I think). And, given the collection, it's relatively inexpensive to visit.
A local singer (Chris Isaak) has, or had an original AC Cobra. Just hearing it idle was enough to cause an anatomical reaction.

My wife just bought a new Hyundai Pallisade. This vehicle has so many bells and whistles that I don't like driving it. I prefer my Ford F150 4X4.
