Do you find that you have a lot of blackbirds in your yard and just turn away? IDK about you but I see so much beauty in some of them. Grackles for instance with their iridescent feathers and glowing eyes. They sound very annoying and are very greedy birds. I do find them very pretty though, enough to stalk and photograph!

Grackles can be a pain, but they do make for a lovely photo too.

Nice photos. Until a few years ago I thought of these noisy & belligerent birds as a nuisance until I also began to photograph them. The iridescent colors fascinate me as I look at what once was a bird to ignore and now quite pretty. There is a life lesson in there somewhere. Thank you for sharing.
