Hello and welcome to the hog :)
Hi Louise, I'm fairly new too! It's nice that we are not alone! ! I'm amazed how many people are on here and from how many different countries and walks of life.. .
I'm still learning how to use the site and what it has got to offer and how we can share. Not that I've learned how, but will do when I get brave enough to put a photo on!
Good luck to you. . . best wishes.

Welcome aboard......You've come to the right place.
Thank you for the welcome everyone. I currently have my kit lens 18-55mm (much improved on the previous one), a 55mm prime, a 55-250 zoom and my new baby 100mm macro. All Canon. Currently saving for a wide angle. Suggestions welcome. L
Hi & welcolme.
If you are after a wide angle lens you will be needing something in the 10 - 20mm range. Can I suggest a trip to the newsagent and get the December copy of PhotoPlus Cannon edition. It has a 7 page spread of Cannon fit lenses. From that you will see Sigma have a 10-20mm f3.5 which scored higher than the cannon 10-20mm f3.5-4.5 on a lens test and is nearly £200.00 cheaper. It is possibly the lens I am saving my pennies for.
