The title of a great song by Three Dog Night who served as much of the soundtrack of my teens and twenties. Underrated group. Escaped Boston to spend some time in a very rural setting helping with the complex liturgies at a rural monastery. Great weekend but exhausting. All the photography was done indoors. No energy to put shoes.
All shot with EM1 mk ii and either the 12-40 2.8 or 75-300/ 4.8-6.7.
The kitchen fulfills all criteria for rustic. As does the wiring.

Thanks. The challenge with the kitchen in the winter is the painted concrete floor. I rarely wear shoes or socks indoors. I kept forgetting to put something on while I was there.
interesting shots, and I appreciate what your finding them when many would not see them at all.

Thanks. Silence and solitude are important to seeing those things. I was alone. No TV, radio, etc (and I would not think of going to the internet there) allow seeing in different ways and noticing little things.
Nice shooting with all of these. The last is my favorite.
You have submitted some very lovely photographs indeed. I love the lighting especially on the very first. Well done..
