Nikon D810 Custom Settings

I have read the manual, watched videos and can't figure out hoe to save custom settings to bank A,B,C,D. I haven't found anything specific for 810. Yhe manual I downloaded dosen't even help.

You select a bank (Shooting Menu Bank, Custom Settings Bank) and change settings in the menu. Those are the settings that are saved in the bank. If you make a change, it is saved automatically.
You cannot save settings TO a bank in the D810. I think only the Z9 has added the ability to copy from one bank to another.
You can save the settings to a file on the memory card, so that allows you to restore the settings if you have changed them a bunch.
But it's all banks, so pretty much a brute force reset.

Jcboy is correct. Whichever bank you are in gets modified by the change you make.
