or at least not very often. In looking through some old folders I found these table-tops done years ago with my first ever TTL digital (Nikon D-60). So just to show that I can - or at least used to - do shots of other than teeth and claws, I will post these and then send them back into history.

I suppose it is the setup time that I don't really have the patience for. I'm more of a snapshot kind of guy.

Disclaimer: Any resemblance to these and any currently living flower is purely coincidental.

You did a great job. The eye tells you whether you have a good shot or not. The brain tells you that you don't like the subject.

I love landscapes and don't like portraits. If you know how to compose your subject, you can make a good shot. Keep doing what makes you happy.

Very nice! You do (did) have the ability with living flowers, and dead, too, I would suppose. I really like numbers one and two. If you should venture into the realm of flowers again, don't cut off the edges in your crops, whether in the taking or processing of the images.
