Hi Hoggers, I have a problem and I think it is my fault. This printer has four tanks, black, red, yellow, and blue. When I first got it, I was printing almost every day. However, as time progressed, I have not used the printer for some time; like maybe a year. Now when I try to pint a document, it fails badly. The first two or three lines print, sorta, but after that, nothing. I did a deep printer cleaning, but that does not work. However, I have noticed that the piping leading the the print heads do not have any ink in them. How can I get ink to the heads? Sure would be nice to print documents without going to Office Depot to print them. Appreciate any help given.
Try calling Canon 800-652-2666 They were very helpful with a problem I had with my Pro-100 a couple of years ago. They even stayed on the line while I went through the steps they told me to do
Perform an "Ink Flush" operation to refill the lines.
