I rented this lens. Please let me know about this shots!

Working on the second shot to eliminate the reflection from the soft box. I looked in Pinterest and most of the shot has glare. More to come! Next with a polarizer

I like them, but I will be interested to see what a polarizer does, Ernesto.

Very nice!!!

I really like #1!!! I like this one because the pears are your main subject with bottle and other items complimenting the pears. I also like the way this one is lit with the shadow of the pear on the right giving separation and depth to the left one.

In your second photo the bottle becomes your main subject with the pears and other items as accents to it. I like the light spilling on your background giving separation of the bottle from the background and as another element to making the bottle the main subject; almost an aura around the bottle.

Please post your reshoot with the polarizer.

May I ask what the purple and white item is in the lower left corner?

Dodie

Indeed there are excellent macro lenses available today from all manufacturers and your Sigma is doing an excellent job. I prefer macros manufactured by the camera company that makes my cameras, in this case Nikon.
I have found the Nikon macros of excellent quality and many of them are sold at bargain prices in the second hand market. I have an old 105mm f4 Micro Nikkor that I regret I do not use it more often.

Thank you for your comments. I have a Nikon 105 macro for Nikon. The sigma is for the Sony. I read a lot of review about the sigma all good. Sigma have better review that Sony 90 mm macro. Hard to believe. I am happy with the lens. It is used from LensRentals the final price was the best. $300 less that the regular price.

All the best
