I got a glimpse of our first one yesterday. Thousands of bluebonnets out on the ranch, so I don’t think they need my feeder. A friend in town has them fighting over 2 feeders already. My feeder has been going down by a Haire very day so I thoght we had our first. We do.

I have these Blue Steeple near me. They blossom right now. Because of all the rains here, they are lasting a lot longer than they usually do. So the hummers are still out there, fighting over the blossoms. It is funny to see them chasing each other away when there is enough for everyone. But that is the way that they are.

Thank you, chief. There have been some coming to my feeder all winter, but these plants, when they bloom bring a lot of them. You just have to wait. It is funny to see them chasing away the others when there is more than enough for all.
