In browsing my public library I found two book titles that may be helpfulf for video enthusiasts:
1. Teach yourself visuallly digital video, 2nd. ed., by Lonzell Watson.
As part of the Teach Yourself Visually series, and though written for video cameras, features lots of drawings and pictures to illustrate planning a video, problem solving, shooting concerts and sporting events, editing, sound tracks, and creating your own Web site.
2. Making a movie in Premiere Element, a visual quickproject, by Jan Ozer.
Details on how to make a quality looking movie fast by the author who has also written on using Windows Movie Maker. Lots of helpful diagrams and tips including collecting project content, assembling clips, inserting transitions, special effects, titles, audio, and creating DVDs. Useful index.
Readers, please post citations for things you have found valuable including DVDs and links to other resources.
This is just a starter list of book material available. More recent book material to be posted subsequently.
