Visitor to the pasture

This fox only gave me a few seconds to capture a few shots before it took off...I tried to be really quiet when I opened the screen door....but alas....I wasn't quiet enough! This is the 2nd time we have seen her in the pasture this week. I don't think we will see many turkey or pheasant chicks this year. I might have to try and find out where she has built her den...maybe I will be seeing fox kits next month or so.

I shot wild life for a lot of years and you take what is offered or the next instant there will be nothing. Good ones. Look at the ears in the first photo, she has you pegged

Thanks...she sure did have me pegged..as soon as that screen door made the slightest noise..she was taking off.

Nicely done, Cindy. I think the "cat" which was mentioned is the blade in the corner of the image.

Thanks! That blade is on a very old Ford..I think it's a 74!
