Has anyone here used any combo of "Move Shoot Move" brand of V and/ or Z brackets with something like an iOptron SkyGuider Pro for shooting Panos?

I've seen some videos and this looks very interesting in lieu of using a ball head. Would be shooting with an R5 and 14mm Rokinon lens, so pretty light weight setup.

Hi Basil,
No never have used one of those. But admittedly, I'm pretty outdated with my DSLR/tripod gear. (I have more heads than brains.)

I do have a ball head that came with my Siri monopod I used on occasions. But I never was very was very keen on ball heads.
Instead, I like heads I can rely on not flopping around. I have a geared head I really like because it has geared actions on 3 planes. So its always been great to adjust with. (I've always been a stickler for precision.) I basically got the geared head for both Macro and for night sky setups.

As for the "Z" or "V" version, I would want the Z for the added flexibility. But of course, that is a personal choice.
The price is very attractive.

Looks like a rather cool option though.
