I accidently right clicked on one of my images in the Bird Gallery. One of the options was to create a QR code. I create it, and downloaded it.

So what good is it to me or anyone else.

Depends on what it is a QR code is for.
I have a QR code for my website that I print on my labels that I attach to the back of prints.

And what does the QR code tell you if you scan it?

It's a link to my website. If they scan it, the phone will say what (site) it is and ask if they want to open it.

QR codes are designed for someone to scan with their phone and take them to a web site. In this case to your photo I believe.

Probably. It's already "scanned".
My use (therefore the reference to scanning) is for printing on labels.

Code Generator in case anyone wants to use it, like for labels:

yeah, I thought that I was taking a screen shot of your QR Code but it was from Longshadow's post. That's what I get for posting on only a few hours sleep.

But that is basically what a QR Code does for you to the best of my limited knowledge

The font rendering on phones leaves a little bit to be desired....
(I build for computer viewing. But at least it works on a phone.)
