Spectacled Owl from South America

The Spectacled Owl is a large and spectacular looking Owl from South America Rain Forests.
He does look like he's wearing glasses.
I had the pleasure of seeing "Diego" Saturday at the National Eagle Center. I have never seen one before.
The World Bird Sanctuary , brought this lovely Owl, plus a rough-legged Hawk, Harris's Hawk, Peregrine Falcon and a Harpy Eagle for us to see. it was in the mid 30's with a breeze so I wore my coat, gloves and a hood.
