Arizona desert is going bonkers with wildflowers this year. These are just east of Phoenix in the Saguaro Lake area. This area is also home to a fairly large herd of wild horses. A real treat to see both at the same time.
What a wonderful treat, Tom! Thanks for sharing.

Good pictures! Poppies and lupines make a really nice combination - blue and gold! And it's great to see vast areas in color from wildflowers. Years ago, there were thousands of acres of poppies and lupines along the highway between the Ridge Route and Bakersfield. Unfortunately, that eventually gave way to farmland. Incidentally, I lived in Arizona (Gilbert and Glendale) for 10 years prior to moving to the Philippines in 2016, and never saw such a display then. Many thanks for the pictures.

What a great feast for the eyes!
Super shots. How nice that you got some horses in the shots. I went there a few days ago and there were no horses to be found. Cheers -- Dan.
Wonderful set. I have never seen the desert in bloom like that. Just beautiful.
