Week old Green Heron chicks. Soon they will be off the nest and scampering around the bushes they were born in. They will not be able to fly yet but will be better able to avoid predators. Green Cay Florida.
Sony a1, Sony 600mm f4 @ f4, 1/1250 sec. iso 1250, hand held, aperture priority with a +2 EV to compensate for the back light, zone focus system, tracking always on, BBF

Wow! Great photo of something I'll never see in the wild. Thanks for your diligence in getting out there with the right equipment and knowing what to do with it, then sharing it all with us who can't do the same in your location.

Nice capture of these Green Heron chicks -- beaky little guys. One of my favorite birds. Until your posts I had never seen any chicks.
