Nikon D610 camera body in excellent+ condition. Shutter clicks are 30,508. It has always been used gently and kept in a Domke F2 bag between uses. It comes from a smoke free and pet free home.

Along with the camera body there is an original Nikon charger and battery, an unopened original D610 strap, and an unopened FX sensor cleaning kit. It also has a Nikon BM-14 LCD cover, Nikon body cap, generic hot shoe cap (seen installed in pics), viewfinder cap, and two 32GB memory cards. There is no box or OEM manual, but a manual can be downloaded from orphancameras.com, or other online sources including Nikon’s.

$375 includes shipping to CONUS only. PayPal (I pay fees) or check accepted (shipping delayed until check clears). PM please.
I have previously sold several cameras and lenses on the Hog with no transaction problems.

Is this a gray market camera?

It was bought used from either KEH or Robert’s three years ago. Bought so many items from each, I’ve lost track. The serial number begins with a 2, which leads me to suspect that it was meant for Japanese market. So yes it would be grey market. I believe that USA or grey, it is well out of warranty. I put about 20K shutter clicks since purchase with no mechanical problems. The camera is in great condition, as I have always babied my photo equipment. Since aging into my 80s, I find the FX bodies have become uncomfortable for me, so this is the last one to sell. I may even sell my D7100 as well and look to a Nikon mirrorless AP-C body.

Nikon serial numbers are not always dedicated in application/region - prior to declaring it to a region I would check the Nikon website or Nikon support, so many produced that there has been a lot of overlap. The real issue for any older models is whether or not they are still supported in any way, meaning that repair parts would almost certainly come from donor bodies. Since this is FF I'd bet that you'd be looking at an MTBF and/or predicted shutter fail well north of 150K clicks (without looking it up).

It is a Japanese Market body (source Roland's Nikon Bodies)
D610
Oct 2013
2000001 < 2000458 - 2116192 > Japan
3000001 < 3000435 - 3213334 > USA

If it was purchased from either KEH or Robert’s it was likely thoroughly inspected since they warranty their Nikon bodies...

I actually shot the D610 for about half a year (it has a fabulous sensor with stellar acuity) however it's AF system was inherited from the D7000 with only 37 individual sensors so it simply wasn't appropriate for League Soccer (or other action sports). Replaced it with a Nikon D3 and never looked back.

The D610 is a great camera for travel and landscape which is highly popular and heavily represented here on UHH. If the aforementioned genre is your primary pursuit, then the D610 will not disappoint.

What's to love about the D610? It's one of the smallest, lightest FX bodies Nikon offered with breathtaking color rendering abilities and stellar acuity. It's weakness? It's AF system is slightly challenged in low light and it's 37 AF sensors are closely cluster in the center of the frame.

Hope this helps Beowulf... all the best on your journey

Thanks to all who commented on my posting of the D610. After a couple of postings that resulted in nearly 1000 views, I am of a mind that Hoggers are more inclined to grab mirrorless bodies or more recent Nikon DSLRs.

At this time we are just about to move to a new home, so our time is taken up with packing, etc. Consequently, tomorrow I will inquire about selling the D610 and D7100 bodies and accessories to MPB or Roberts, along with a lens or two. If I get a fair enough price, I may trade for a Nikon mirrorless.
