This is the type of question that looks like someone asked it just to get attention. However, I've seen it asked more than once online and in print.
"When we look in a mirror, left and right are reversed. Why aren't up and down reversed?"
The answer is obvious, so you don't have to explain it to us.

No problem. They have a picture of a deer.
Well when you look into the mirror nothing is reversed. Top is on top, bottom is at the bottom, right is on the right and left is on the left.

doesn't your mirror do that?
Stand in front of the mirror. Raise your right hand wouldn't the raised hand in the mirror is on the right?. Touch the mirror wouldn't your hand touch the image of your hand in the mirror?
If you want a mirror that displays what you want (a view from "the other side"), put two mirrors at 90° to each other and look into the joint.

with over 30 years of experience as an EMT/Paramedic almost every vehicle i worked in had ECNALUBMA printed across the front. when seen in the rear-view mirror by a driver in front of it, it would read AMBULANCE
