This was an exercise that I wanted to try just to stretch my post processing techniques a bit. The first image is SOOC. The second image, after a good amount of using the clone stamp and spot healing brush tools, is my application of a moonlight LUT and some work with the paintbrush and blending modes. Thoughts, comments and suggestions are certainly welcome. Thanks for looking.
I like the second shot. If you want to get into details there are a few “wrong way” shadows.
Picture is way beyond my talents so I say nice work.
Impressive result, Tommy! You can post process my shots anytime.

Very nice work Tommy…only because you’re “stretching your skills” consider moving the light and pole to the other side of the barn so the shadows will be in sync with their light source. This photo really benefits from your treatment…thanks for sharing.
Thank you all so much for your comments. A couple of you mentioned "wrong way shadows." I have to confess I'm not really sure what you mean. If any of you can take the time to reply or to send me a private message with a little more information as to what you see, I would really appreciate it.
Fabulous PP work Tommy!

Hi Strat player!
Above the askew door on the lower level are 7 poles (joist cantilevers I suspect) whose shadows are canting back toward the pole light when they should be running the other way. The roof has a couple of shadows also facing the light.
The issue stems from the original picture having the sun on the other side of the barn and the nightime version has the pole light on the viewers side of the barn.
Hope that helps, keep up the good work.

Hey Bass guy! Thank you so much for taking the time to point out some of these issues. It is certainly these type of things that enhance the believability of post-processing work. You're right – the light source in the original was on the opposite side of the light pole and that did throw some things off. I really appreciate your critiques and I will endeavor to address these type of things in the future. Keep pickin', mate!
I like what you've done here. I like the added light & your casted light. Where I might differ from you is the color. I think it is just too blue to be real.
