Fortunately or unfortunately the 130,000 was not a taxable item for President Trump and it did not come from his businesses. It was a personal expense and paid from his personal accounts. Cohan testified under oath that the 130,000 was included in a 420,,000 sum paid over a year. President Trump paid the first 35,000 with a personal check and the rest was paid monthly from his trust account and the checks were signed by two other officers. The checks were listed as legal expenses. Because it was personal money and untaxable he could call it what ever he wanted.
