After leaving Lake Powell, we continued on US 89 through Page toward Kanab, UT. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon was closed, so we took US 89, a mistake I now believe because we did not go through Marble Canyon. We did, however, go through the Vermillion Cliffs area. The revealed layers in the formations along this route are a photographer's dream.
We stopped for shots at the North Rim, but after that my wife drove and I took iPhone 12 Pro Max shots at about 65mph. That phone continues to amaze me.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Excellent photos Mike. Myron Cook, the geologist, has some excellent videos on Utube which your photos remind me of.
Great shots, Mike. The different colored strata in these formations never cease to amaze me.

Thanks for your generous comment. My wife went to his site and sent me the link.

Thanks, the beauty never stops. In 2012 we took a Grand Circle tour and at each stop the tour guides took out a chart showing the strata in the west and how that particular site fit in.
Wow, these are all so beautiful. I hope you have enough walls in your home.
I appreciate your thumbs up, Bill.

Thanks, Elliott, I stopped hanging a few years ago.
These sets are getting better and better each day, Mike. Great work.
