I tore a ligament and temporarily using a walker. It's healing quite nicely, but for now, I use it to plop down around the blueberry bushes. i have my iced coffee, my smokes, and a JBL Charge 5 for tunes.
Its very peaceful.

OK, so it's not a bee, but she was hanging around the blueberries.

LeeinNC, Your photos reinforce our in part denied knowledge of the world around us... Bees always work we accept, but your photo of the cat tell us cats contemplate squinting suspiciously when we point cameras their way.

We must admit, tho it is hard, that cats have learned to master the large human clumsy animals who can not jump, and climb trees. They have trained humans to groom them, bathe them, and will work hard to obtain food for them; disconcerting but true.

I frequently receive that squint. It's as if they're communicating, "Not the damn camera again."

Good stuff! A trick that you might try is to dab something like dilute honey onto the flowers right where you are waiting. The bees will stay on it longer and so there might be less need to chase 'em.

Mark, did you notice the honeybee getting nectar from a hole in the side of the blueberry blossom? I think the holes might have been made by a bumblebee.

Well, I've observed that behavior several times. The hard working bee takes a shortcut.
