Early one morning this Brown Thrasher showed up, perched on a branch of the nectarine tree in our yard. An elusive bird, I had just enough time to grab my camera off the kitchen table and get this shot before it was gone.

Nice shot.
I haven't been lucky this year. They are in and out of the feeder so fast that I can't get a shot in!

Nice shot of this comical looking bird. They always look a wee bit angry. Try placing a suet cake in a good spot for picture taking. They will hang around a little longer to get at the suet. I can't do that because it would involve taking the screen out of the kitchen window, then the cats would get out. :)

Nice shot. They are very timid. Saw my first one of this Spring today after I mowed the lawn. I guess he figured the bugs would be stirred up.
