John Heinz NWR. When I got there yesterday (Monday 3/27) the weather was perfect - hardly a cloud in the sky. I took a three-hour walk and really enjoyed it. Then the clouds rolled in and I almost got back to my car before it burst - I got soaked!

All were shot with Nikon Z9 and Nikon Z100-400mm lens. The EXIF data is below the photo in Flickr.

Frank: the tail was furry so not a muskrat. But it might have been something other than a groundhog - I do think it was a groundhog based on comparisons to those we see in my yard - maybe a young one. Thanks
