Beautiful shots. I always thought I would like to visit there. I would always notice the round-top atrium from the highway but never had time to stop. I was usually in St. Louis for a baseball game.

Thanks, I appreciate you viewing and comment. The gardens are a photo op rich environment for sure and worth a visit.

I recently picked up a new (to me) Nikon Z6ii. The learning curve has been steep but I’m starting to get comfortable with it. These were taken Saturday afternoon at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. The place was packed with people, but I managed to shoot a few things that caught my eye in the brief time I spent there. All shot with a Tamron 90mm macro f/2.8 and an FTZ converter.

Fantastic set!!!
If you get to the garden before they OFFICIALLY open ( open for walkers) you can go inland don't have all the people to contend with!! especially on week days. Usually around 7:00/7:30 am.
Sharon and I used to go on Saturday mornings, it was great, very peaceful.

It looks as if you are doing well with it. The fourth photo is my favorite.

It looks like you have figured out the steep part. The flowers are beautiful. Do you know the name of the 3rd one?

Very nice! Impressive sharpness from that kit.
