I just purchased the TK8 Luminosity Plugin the other day and thought these would be a good set to start with learning the program. I took these photo's back in 2016 while fishing on Ft Peck Reservoir as the storm rolled in, I attached the original and then the edited version.
What do you think of the edits? What would you do different? Compliments and criticism's all appreciated...still learning the program, so all help is appreciated!
To me, there is definite improvement on all of them. The clouds are more intense and everything else was lightened just enough.

Thanks...that was my goal ...to not do too much!
Excellent results, Cindy!

Thanks Mike....I am just starting to learn what that plugin is capable of...it's going to be a fun tool!
I would say the re-edits are quite a bit better, Cindy. Maybe a little over-saturated but only a tad. I like them very much.
Sometimes a soft glow is the better option. Most of your originals need something but I'd say your edits are a bit excessive to the point where they look a bit overcooked.
Sometimes it's better to let shadows be shadows. Yes, they can be too impenetrable and solid, but lifting them too far can result in an unflattering harsh look.
All of those comments are irrelevant if you specifically wanted a ramped up look. Such a look may be quite popular these days but it's not everybody's cup of tea.
Wow! Those clouds look apocalyptic, especially that last one. Good job!
Nicely done Cindy! I've been curious about TK8 and hope to see more of your work trying it out.
Very successful I would say.
It obviously makes a difference. I'd say your worked images are probably close to what the public seems to want these days.
It is great fun to experiment with new software. These results are very much personal preference as to like or dislike, along with there being the usual issues when viewing online: individual monitors and even eyesight - such as cataracts.
For me, the posted changes are oversaturated and unrealistic - especially in the cloud detail. For example, if I were editing that moon shot, I'd want to keep the dark landscape and the softer colors. It's a spectacular moment of light and landscape as-is.
On the other hand, in my "playful" processing I have many oversaturated results, because that's what I like when I'm creating fanciful interpretations. All the best in your explorations, Cindy!
