bcheary, have you read it, if not bad boy, if yes then what are your comments regarding this skinny dog that " seven-feet-tall on its hind legs and weighed about 200 pounds." Are you telling us something specific that we should consider?

If you read the whole article you wouldn't have to ask.

What I got from this article - "...supernatural animal found throughout mythology, folklore, and fiction."

Maybe it was Big Foot's beloved pet. 😂

When I lived in Palm Springs, some years ago, I had a Borzoi (Russian wolfhound) who could stand on his hind legs and look over my head - and I'm six feet tall. I used some railroad ties for landscaping; he would pick one up and run around the yard with it - and they're very heavy! I never let him know he could jump because a breeder once told me they could stand by an 8-foot fence - and jump over it. They were bred in Russia to run down wolves and hold them until their master got there! They are beautiful dogs! I don't know whether they are not smart enough to do the customary "tricks" - or too independent to want to, but quite different from a German Shepherd I had later. I taught him MANY things, including hand signals; nothing took more than five minutes for him to learn. I didn't have to teach him to sit; the first time I told him, he did it! - and always from then on. He absolutely loved my daughter. If anyone would have caused her a problem, he would have torn them apart. One of his favorite things - I would tell him to "Go find Melissa" and he would run around the yard until he (quickly) found where she was hiding. He was one of the two dogs I have had who was smarter than most people I have met!!!
