Mav, your mum's experience has me worried. I am waiting for my second cataract op. I hate having anything done to my eyes, but I do need it.

Hello from my sunshiny warm world. Procedure to fix my back is set for Monday. Hoping it gives me some relief from some of the pain.

Good morning all from an almost sunny Norfolk although it hasn't warmed up much yet, maybe this week coming. Started my new shawl, the author recommended that if you are using up stash to do 10 rows of each section, started that and then realised I'd have a lot of ends to sew in so will do my own thing as far as size of sections. Nothing planned for the weekend so will be desperately grovelling around the TV channels to find something to watch and then settle down with my knitting. Have a great weekend if you can. xx
