I wasn't thinking of used and should have been.
I've bought most of my m43 gear used. I'm fine with letting others take the depreciation hit and "slide down the left wall of the bathtub curve."
Thank you all for your great suggestions.
Casual video...any clickless aperture lens will do...try and keep focus breathing a consideration.
That's it.

What is your system?
We have two GH4s and a GH5. We have three 12-35mm f/2.8 zooms, a 35-100mm f/2.8 zoom, a 30mm macro f/2.8, and a 42.5mm f/1.7. We use DJI and Sennheiser wireless mics, an EV RE-20 in the VoiceOver booth, and a Røde shotgun (NTG2?).
All video editing is in Final Cut Pro, although one of the twins has DaVinci Resolve 18 and has dabbled in Premier Pro. Video sweetening and other audio composition is done in GarageBand using a wide range of plug-ins and a MIDI keyboard.
We do miscellaneous video and hobby film work. Here's a very short one my twins made a couple of years ago.

Bob, how about your setup to which you referred?
…it’s funny how things change as you read through the comments from the original post…here is my 2 cents…AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Lens (20068)…the AF-P (pulse wave) is made especially for video because the focusing motor is so quiet it doesn’t get picked up by the camera microphone…this is a sharp inexpensive lens that would work perfectly…just make sure your camera has the most recent updates…and don’t be concerned with the (f/4.5-5.6) the stage lighting is usually bright enough…and they don’t want you using flash…this is the FX version…they make a DX version which is about $100. dollars cheaper but the VR version doesn’t have a lens switch you can turn off like the FX VR version…
