The Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden here in Pittsburgh is running it's spring flower show now. I thought to just share some photos from it. I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for the compliment. The Bonsai shown here has been groomed since 1970. They also had one dating back to 1960; evidently it's a multiple generation effort.

Yep! I spent some time in Japan. I used to visit one particular Bonsai curator. Many of his Bonsai were a few hundred years old! He didn't really speak English and I didn't really speak Japanese but we communicated through our common interest. Some of his Bonsai were handed down to him through his great, great, Grandfather. I tried to ask him if Japanese women practiced Bonsai. As I understood his answer, women don't have the patience to do that, but I might not have fully understood his words!
