Recently purchased the Canon 55-210mm S lens to be used with my R10 and R7. When I turn them on with the 55-210mm lens attached I get the message the camera may not support all functions of the lens. I know I have asked this question before, but have yet to try to up grade the firmware. How do you do it? the manual which came with the R10 is basically a waste of paper. Will appreciate any help/advise.
The instructions are in Canons support and downloads section. You will hafta go there anyway to get the update itself and the instructions are right there when you do that. So packing those instructions on paper along with the camera would be a redundant waste of paper.
IOW just go for it and Canon will hold your hand when you do it.
