Does the pomp/ceremony make a church the greatest? An old priest once told me he was an exile working in a very remote area because he wore Levi's & belonged to the Volunteer Fire Dept. Also, went into bars & encouraged women to not work as hookers. He finished by telling me that when in Rome it humiliated him to see the huge audience gathering to see him in the cortège in a custom car. He finished by telling that if Jesus came to town he would enter on a donkey.
