When referring to Connally as a Governor you are restricted to the Democratic Party. He did not come to his senses until he left the Statehouse and got a look at the "real" world. Just ask your alter ego Frank T. There is NO proof of what you type.

WH**EVER, well if true, he did America a great service....Carter's first four years were totally disastrous and this 'in over his head' peanut farmer would have made the second four years even worse....but not to worry, he's free and clear of that low rung now that we have Biden... Cheers.

So, Connally possibly saved the country from 4 more years of Jimmy Carter? Someone should have given him a medal.

Not so sure that this is not revisionist history, this rumor has been out there for years, all I can say is that Reagan was the greatest president of my lifetime, he instilled hope and p***e back into our society when it sorely needed it.

Please don’t misunderstand but what did Carter do wrong other than be a democrat .?

I do find it amazing that you applaud such actions in the name of partisan politics.

After Johnson and Nixon and Vietnam, you mean. The entire country was nuts then. And Nixon should have been the first indicted President. Then we would have the true Republican trend.

One of Carter's first accomplishments was to eliminate the "two matrini lunch." This was just the first sign to America that democrats h**e business. It cannot be easily controlled. His next move was to begin disarming America when he cancelled the much needed B-1 bomber. This went worse when career military minds left service because of his anti-military policies. How much worse can you continue to deny. Carter was not qualified to be Commander in Chief and the world knew it.

Amazing "whataboutism"--not talking about what the allegations are and just about justifying the means to get result some wanted.

So, what do you have to say about Hillary funding the famous "Dossier" which was the basis for Crossfire Hurricane? You are not the lofty angel that you pretend to be.

Yes he did and I belie he concurrently accelerated the cruise missle program that proved a much bigger deterrent and weapon than the 5 B1 he cancelled.
