Got this off the web.

Are Carl Zeiss Jena lenses any good?
Russian-made, lenses that followed the original Zeiss designs.) Most Jena lenses are better made than most Russian lenses and are optically quite good, but not really in the same league as post-war (western) Zeiss lenses. Beware though of some cheap and nasty "Made in Japan" lenses that carried the Carl Zeiss name.Aug 24, 2021

An Exa is the first single lens reflex camera I ever owned. If I remember correctly I paid a hundred Marks for it in Reutlingen, Germany. I sold it and several years ago I contacted the person I sold it to and bought it back for my collection. I have an Exacta in perfect condition a friend found in a storage unit he bought. If film ever comes back down to a decent price I may begin using film again just for fun.

way back i bought an exacta for my dad...he used it till he passed away...i gave that one to one of my sons...he still has it...the ones shown i collected over the years...i'm thinking about getting rid of my collection as i'm getting to the end....i have about 8 cameras i want to keep as they mean something to me...i started photography when i was 15...i'm 87 now...had darkrooms did my own developing....mostly b and w did some ecktacrome slides....never made a nickle from the hobby and didn't really want to...just for my own gratification...time to let go i guess....been a ham since 1970..and still get on the air with that...

My dad had an Exacta SLR that shot 120 film. Waist level finder as I recall. He also had an Exacta enlarger that disassembled and fit into it's own case which was the baseboard. It used the lens off the camera for the enlarger. As far as I know, he never used it as he preferred the Graflex RB series D ion 3.25x4.25 and his Elwood enlarger. I have not been able to find any info on the 120 exacta or enlarger.
