The color of spring

We took a hike along the Middle Fork river today, notice the color of the water...that means SPRING is on it's way!! Finally...it's been a very long cold snowy winter. We will have a few weeks of the greenish color then it will turn muddy brown for a week or so...then back to clear blue for the rest of the summer.

Tried to talk the hubby into climbing up on the tunnel and sitting on the top till a train came by...lol...we used to do that when we were kids...he wouldn't go for it!

Beautifully captured, Cindy...looking pretty much the same today. Just read where Alta Ski Resort has had 686" of snow since 10/1/2023 and is expecting another four feet in the next week!!

Thanks guys! Glad everyone enjoyed these. The river is excellent for catching cutthroat trout and amazing to float in the summer....lots of rapids on this stretch of river!
