Firebirds keep plugging away to beat Charlotte. They currently sit in first place at 5-1! Solid play all around. I will note the refs were not at their best, and one got a case of thin skin with several technicals called on Raleigh and even one ON THE CROWD! Wow! Anyway, a few from the game.

Well, I was focused upon him bringing the ball down court. Then he just happened to do that pass, between his legs, behind him to a trailing player who took it in for a layup. The best play *I* have ever seen at any level. I was just following him and that 20 fps caught the key moment of the pass. It was just one of those moments in which you think Wow - I actually caught that!!!

Excellent series Rick! I'm now a believer for the 24-70mm f2.8 looking at your action shots. I hope to purchase that lens before the fall (volleyball) for my Canon.

The 24-70 f2.8 works well for me as I am positioned under the basket. For my volleyball stuff, the 70-200 f2.8 is my go to lens. The 24-70 works pretty good when I am close courtside. Consider where you will be able to set up for volleyball. But that being said, I really like th 24-70!
